All ARMOR production and distribution sites are ISO 14001 certified. ARMOR has certified, inter alia, its management and has also agreed to develop, implement, maintain, and improve it.

Reducing waste and our impact on the environment

All remanufactured Laser and Inkjet cartridges are manufactured from empty collected cartridges. 70% to 90% (by weight) of empty cartridges components are reused.

Manufacturing remanufactured cartridges reduces the environmental impact: it is 60% less CO² and over 30% energy saved (Source: Etira 2008).


Promoting environmentally friendly packaging

Our Laser packaging is made of 95% recycled cardboard.

Our inkjet cartridge boxes are made of 85% recycled cardboard.

Whatever the product, our packaging is fully recyclable.

Eco-selecting our partners and suppliers

An environmental and social assessment of each supplier (Purchasing and Transportation) is part of the selection criteria and performance monitoring. It is part of a partnership approach based on a voluntary and shared progress.

Promoting ecological and cost-effective products

For ARMOR, it is important to provide users with products that have proven performance and demonstrable ecological qualities. That’s why ARMOR promotes developing high-yield print cartridges (printing capacity greater than that of OEM brands measured according to ISO yield standards) both for its Inkjet and Laser solutions. Many of our laser products are labelled NF Environment and Nordic Ecolabel.

100% recycling of end-of-life cartridges: a unique process!

ARMOR is the only manufacturer of compatible consumables guarantying its customers 100% reclamation of the cartridge at the end of its life, with the support of a special partner.

All non-reusable cartridges components are dismantled and reclaimed in their entirety. A mass balance guarantees ARMOR and customers that the output weight of cartridge elements after decommissioning is equal to the input weight from the cartridge. Reclamation is therefore 100% for cartridges.

All parts from of these cartridges (toner powder, plastic, aluminium…) are reclaimed through various channels (chemical industry, for example).
